Can I pay online using a debit/credit card?
Yes! We offer secure online payments via debit/credit card and other digital methods for your convenience. Payment details will be available in your VIP Account, which will be set up once your booking is confirmed.
Why do I need to pay a deposit?
The deposit secures your event date exclusively for you and ensures all necessary preparations can be made. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so your deposit guarantees your event is locked in our calendar.
Why do I need to sign a contract?
A contract protects both parties by clearly outlining the agreed terms, services, and expectations. It ensures transparency, reliability, and peace of mind, so you know exactly what to expect from DJ DLuxe during your event.
Availability & Experience
Do you have a DJ available for our date?
You can easily check availability by using our Booking form option or by reaching out to us directly. If we are unavailable for your chosen date, we can recommend a trusted colleague who can step in under the DJ DLuxe brand to ensure your event is just as memorable.
Can we see testimonials or references from previous clients?

How far in advance should we book you?
For weddings and peak-season events, we recommend booking 6–12 months in advance to ensure your preferred date is available. For private parties and bespoke events, there’s often more flexibility, but it’s always a good idea to reach out early where possible.
How much does a wedding DJ cost?
Pricing varies based on location, duration, equipment needs, and special requests. DJ DLuxe offers Wedding Packages starting from £400, including personalised event elements as standard. Music & Performance
Can we choose the music?
Yes! Your event should reflect your unique taste. We offer fully customisable playlists, and you’re welcome to provide a list of must-play and do-not-play songs. We’ll ensure the music fits the vibe and keeps the energy flowing throughout the event.
What genres of music do you play?
Everything! From classic wedding anthems to modern club hits, we can mix all styles, including R&B, Motown, House, Pop, Indie, Rock, 80s/90s/00s, and more. With our experience in the industry, we can seamlessly blend different styles to match your event.
Will you take song requests from guests?
Yes, we’re happy to take requests as long as they align with your music preferences. You can choose whether to have an open request policy or provide a curated list in advance.
Do you provide music for the ceremony as well as the reception?
Yes! When you book DJ DLuxe for your wedding, we can provide music for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, ensuring a seamless transition between each part of your day. More details can be found within the booking form.
Setup & Equipment
What equipment do you provide?
We provide a high-end sound system, wireless microphones, and stylish lighting to create the perfect atmosphere. All equipment is PAT tested and set up discreetly for a professional look.
Do you offer lighting and special effects?
Yes! We offer bespoke lighting options, mood lighting, dancefloor effects, and even haze machines to create a stunning event experience. Let us know what vibe you’re going for!
How much space do you need for setup?
A minimum of 3m x 2m (or similar) is ideal. We can adjust based on the venue size—just let us know in advance.
How long does setup take?
We usually arrive 90 minutes before the event to ensure everything is perfect. Pack-down takes around 45 minutes after the event finishes. If you’d like us to set up before guests arrive or at a specific time, this can be arranged for an additional fee.
Do you have backup equipment in case of technical issues?
We always carry backup speakers, cables, and a second music source to ensure your event runs smoothly, no matter what.
Logistics & Other Details
What areas do you cover?
We’re based in South Wales, covering South Wales and the South of England. Both our Weddings and Ultimate Party Packages cover events up to 150 miles from the SA11 postcode. However, we’re open to bespoke bookings outside these areas—just ask!
Do you have insurance?
Yes, DJ DLuxe is fully insured with Public Liability Insurance (PLI) for peace of mind. Most venues require this, and we can provide certificates if needed.
Can you provide a microphone for speeches?
Yes! We provide high-quality wireless microphones for speeches, toasts, and announcements as part of our packages.
What happens if you’re unwell or unavailable?
In the unlikely event that your DJ can’t make it, we have a network of trusted professional DJs who can step in under the DJ DLuxe brand to ensure your event continues seamlessly.
Can you stay later if the party is going strong?
Yes! If the venue allows and you’d like to extend the night, we can continue playing for an additional fee, which can be added on the night. This service is offered at our discretion.
Do you offer a meeting before the event?
Yes! For weddings and bespoke events, we offer a pre-event consultation to go through all the details and ensure everything is exactly how you envision it.
